Basketball Hoop

There was a basketball hoop on the side of one of a barn that has seen some years go by. Given it was over grass there’d be no opportunity to learn any significant dribbling skills. Wonder what the difference between a city kids experience on hard courts, street, or playgrounds, vs. a farm kids experience where there’s no surface that you can learn to dribble a ball. Maybe there’s a sports anthropologists doing thesis work who can spend a lot of time figuring that out, probably on a grant.
