Been in a non-stop travel mode for the last three weeks, and there’s not been much time to post, just trying to get the good work for my clients and a little sleep. I took this leaving Miami couple weeks ago on the evening of my birthday, or maybe it’s a week ago if I checked the schedule. Lots of good work and a few good images from the sidelines that I’ll try to post a few over the next week or so.

Have spent the week on a lake in South Carolina shooting lake life, life style. Crew has been great, creative time was too, weather was not, but we’ve made some good work, have some fresh war stories and it’s time to come back. I’ve got a 36 hr turn around before I head out of country on another shoot, so events will turn quickly.

In this digital era you can’t have a camera for years, they keep turning over, so today I stepped outside my condo to do a few test images with yet another camera body. I ran into my neighbor Reed, who always seems to be involved in a water sport that involves a board. This one was big, guess his wife is a patient woman.

Heading out on the road for the next two weeks for a couple shoots. I’ll post some images as I get the chance.

Sometimes you just have to shoot the vista. It fascinates me that only a little distance from here is Key Bridge and Georgetown. It seems so remote.

Would have liked to say something lofty & reverent like I could have sat there for hours watching these beautiful swirling patterns change, but I took a few pictures and moved on.

Great Falls

Couple weekends ago I was in Northern Virginia and went by to see Great Falls from the Virginia side. Why I’ve never been there I’m not certain, its an impressive look at water in action, and I can’t imagine the force of this when it floods. Also interesting that it’s just a few miles from DC, and yet it seems awfully remote when you stand there and watch the surge.
