Pre dawn at the winery. The rain that was forecast didn’t happen, and it was a good day for the vintner and myself. Crush is under way and they didn’t want the vines to get any fresh moisture, I just needed the sunlight.

Nursery Image

Couple weekends back I was looking through a nursery in Portsmouth and I saw a plant with interesting patterns. I made a few frames to see what could come of the detail. This was the 4th frame, and although I don’t work in black and white so much lately (the art world would shame me), I did enjoy getting away from any color interpretation and just see what the gray tones would give back.
I’ll be out the rest of the week shooting a winery. I may still be able to post from the hotel. Lets see what happens.
