There was a British Royal Navy ship docked near my house, so I walked by and made this image.
I haven’t posted in a week because I’ve been working on a personal video project for a family, and there’s been no time for posting or even much sleep, but now I’m back.

Parking Lot

Whale Search

Crossing the Bay Bridge Tunnel on the way up to the Eastern Shore of Virginia this morning. A number of years ago, I was driving north to New Jersey for a photo shot and right off the side of the bridge I just happen to see a large whale raise it’s tail up and slide back under. It happened so quickly it’s hard to think it was real, but since I’m not prone to delusions, (how would I know if I were) I figured I got to see the real deal. The odd thing after all these years is, when I drive across that long bridge/tunnel, I still keep my eyes on the water in hopes I might once again see that whale.
